DfwVROC Bikes on Display at Car Show in Frisco, Texas July 31, 2004

In response to a request by Plano Kawasaki twelve members of the DFW VROC showed up at Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas, on July 31, 2004, to display their bikes to the general public in conjunction with an antique and custom  car show and competition sponsored by the Frisco Police and Fire Departments to raise money for anti-drug campaigns.   There were many vendors inside the school and also air conditioning on a very hot day so we got a lot of traffic and admirers.  Two cheerleaders from the Dallas arena pro football team posed on  a couple of the bikes.  We showed up at the school about  8:30 and stayed until about 12:30  when it finally got so hot we decided to find somewhere cooler.  B-Man led us on a 25 mile jaunt on some great roads  through Allen, Lucas, Parker, Wylie, Sachse and into Garland for some good bar b que at Marshall's.   All in all, a good day.

We gathered for this show at the request of Plano Kawasaki because of it's generous support of HCR VIII.
